Success at the Home and Garden Show

At this past Home and Garden Show, we experienced a tremendous response to our product. Not only did it show in the end dollar figure of sales, but it was also quite evident in the continuous swarm of buzz around our booth, the feedback from our new customers, and the recently (and quickly) acquired brand ambassadors.

We had one gentleman, in particular, who purchased a Multi-Bit from us on the first day, and brought a new customer back to us on each of the 4 subsequent days!

We had an inspiring comment from another customer, which is so heart-warming we just had to share it. He says:

I picked up one of these screwdrivers at the home and garden show and I fell in love with this innovative product! The fit and finish is amazing and the design is unique. The design and feel of the handle in your hand is incredibly comfortable. I know you’ve got a sure winner with this product and design! I will be spreading a good word around to my friends, family and co-workers about this tool.

We experienced the unanticipated delight of positive response and high interest from local retailers, and are now very likely on our way into more stores, and we got to see how widely our product reaches the market. Everyone from eighty year old women, middle-aged men, beautiful groups of women, and children as small as age 4 enjoyed trying our ratcheting screwdrivers & many took one home for themselves.

Rolgear Pitches the Producers of Dragon’s Den

The head of Rolgear’s Sales Division, Alexa Suter, recently had a creative idea to pitch Rolgear’s tools to the producers of the Canadian Investor & Entrepreneur TV Show, Dragons Den.

After being on the road doing sales, Alexa heard the opportunity on the radio and right then and there decided “why not?”

“It was a lot of fun,” says Alexa of her experience in the den. “I could tell the producers were pleasantly surprised. They were interested in speaking to the inventor, and thought it would be a great idea to have both of us on air together.”

Well, Rolgear will soon know for sure whether we’ll make it to the Dragons, and whether they’ll express the same level of interest!

Our most popular item! An easy-to-use, multi-bit ratcheting screwdriver that houses all your needs! The Canadian manufactured multi-bit comes pre-loaded with 7 double-ended bits, for a total of 14 applications in one. Built-in magnets keep the chosen bit securely in the shaft, and allow you to switch with drop-free ease and efficieny by simply removing the bit from the shaft, selecting the new bit from the bottom, and sliding it through. The universal design allows you to pair the multi-bit with any of your existing quarter inch bits.

The sleek, eye-catching black and white handle lends a comforting grip to the single-grip advantage of the ratchet; the roller type ratchet remains invisibly held within the handle, and is topped by the lime green adjuster. With a yet a single hand, our users can index between forward, neutral, and backward.

Cleaning instructions: ROLGEAR® Ratcheting Multi-Bits are best cleaned with DW-40 and a cloth. These handles are water resistent, but are not built to resist strong heat or paint thinners.
